QuickOffice is looking for a System Administrator. Quickoffice (http://www.quickoffice.com) is a world leader in mobile applications development. Quickoffice has several development centers in various countries that produce world-famous mobile applications. Quickoffice has a rapidly growing team which requires a talent, ambitious person to control its IT infrastructure and create a robust and scalable base for increasing success. Responsibilities: Create and support development environments for several teams Keep configurations up do date: investigate new versions of SDKs/tools/libraries and integrate them to the development environment Be responsible for assembly distributives, prepare installation packages, and write setup routines for various software platforms and hardware architectures Investigate and adapt new tools and techniques in source code control software Write necessary scripts and programs, create documents, instructions, perform ad hoc administration activities, etc Requirements: Strong IT background Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration Good experience in administrating web servers and managing security Strong experience in at least one Scripting language: Perl, Python, Shell, JavaScript Good experience with at least one SCCS: CVS, SVN, Mercurial, Git Good written and spoken English Knowledge of Mac OS X will be a plus Experience in packaging software will be a plus Knowledge of more than one scripting language will be a plus Knowledge of more than one SCCS will be a plus Web development experience will be a plus Quickoffice offers its full-time employees: • brand new office • convenient work place • modern hardware • paid vacation • 1 week Christmas holiday • paid English lessons • compensation for lunches |
