EPAM Systems, one of the largest Software Engineering Services Companies in European IT market, is looking for Oracle Database Expert for its Kharkiv Office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure availability and performance of the databases that support the system. • Review, design, implementation and maintenance (including rollouts and upgrades) of data models in Oracle RDBMS. • Monitor relational databases to optimize database performance and resource use, tuning of database (SQL) queries. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: • 5+ years of database object modeling experience and Oracle RDBMS administration. • Practical experience in writing database package, procedure and functions using PL/SQL, Java. • Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service. • Hand-up experience in Materialized View, Partitioning and other optimization mechanisms is a must. • Good English communication skills.
